The Shadow in the Glass

Eleanor- also known as Ella, was once upon a time a ward taken in by a kindly lady. She raised to be a lady and was determined to make the most of her situation.

Now, Ella is still a ward in same house, but her fortunes have plummeted and she is now a maid.

Forced to work hard long days whilst fighting off the advances of her lecherous “stepfather” Ella finds her only solace in sneaking into the library in the middle of the night to read.

And here her life will change forever, because the book she picks on this particular night has magic in it. And through this magic, she is granted seven wishes.

And those wishes come at a price.
