Neverwhere

Richard Mayhew is an ordinary London businessman who lets life buffet him around without seeming to have any purpose beyond what his fiancé tells him the purpose should be.

Until he happens upon a girl bleeding on the sidewalk. In an uncharacteristic move, he brings her back to his flat to take care of her and in doing so, opens a door to a world that there is no turning back from.

Neverwhere is a dark place with people and creatures of all kinds. Neverwhere is London Below and as Richard has no way of returning to London Above, he joins Door- the girl he helped- on her quest to find who or what slaughtered her family.
